About Us

Edmonds women creating space to connect, learn, lead, and uplift one another across every season.

A circular arrangement of diverse hardcover books on leadership, personal development, and community building, their spines in complementary muted tones of navy, rose, cream, and sage, radiating outward on a light oak table. In the center sits a small, elegant glass vase holding a simple arrangement of white and soft pink flowers. The setting is a quiet reading nook with a neutral upholstered armchair and a faintly visible bookshelf in the softly blurred background. Warm, indirect afternoon light filters in from the right, casting gentle highlights along the book covers. Captured in photographic realism from a slightly elevated perspective, the mood is reflective, supportive, and intellectually engaged.
A large, neatly written agenda on a white magnetic dry-erase board, featuring color-coded headings and bullet points for topics like community projects, mentoring, and wellness, with the specific text slightly out of focus to keep it generic. A trio of fine-tipped dry-erase markers in coordinating colors rests on the tray below. The board stands in a bright, modern meeting room with a hint of coastal artwork on the wall and a potted plant in the softly blurred background. Cool, even overhead lighting combines with gentle daylight from a side window, creating a clean, professional atmosphere. Photographic realism at eye level emphasizes clarity, organization, and purposeful planning.

Our Mission, Story, and Values

Edmonds Women’s Group began as a small living room circle and has grown into a welcoming network for women of every age and background. We create opportunities to build friendships, share skills, volunteer locally, and champion one another’s goals.

Our Leaders

A minimalist white desk with a smooth matte surface, arranged with an open spiral-bound planner featuring clean, lined pages, a fine-tip pen resting across a weekly layout, and a small stack of neatly aligned teal and lavender notebooks. Beside them sits a low, modern ceramic planter filled with hardy green succulents. The desk is placed near a large window where soft morning light streams through sheer curtains, casting delicate shadows and creating a gentle glow. Photographic realism, shot from a slightly elevated angle with the composition guided by the rule of thirds, conveys an organized, professional, and hopeful atmosphere ideal for planning events and personal development.

A close-up of a structured bulletin board titled with a clean, printed header reading “Community Opportunities” at the top, surrounded by neatly arranged flyers and cards in coordinated shades of teal, plum, and soft gray. The content of the flyers is intentionally out of focus, but icons for workshops, book clubs, and volunteer events are subtly visible. The board is mounted in a modern community center hallway with a glimpse of a glass door and greenery beyond in soft blur. Overhead lighting provides clear, neutral illumination, while a hint of natural light from the side adds gentle contrast. Photographic realism at eye level conveys organization, inclusivity, and active community engagement.

A tidy round table set up for a structured workshop, covered with a soft gray linen cloth and arranged with identical clipboards holding blank worksheets, fine black pens, and small glass tumblers of water on cork coasters. In the center, a simple arrangement of eucalyptus branches in a clear cylindrical vase adds a touch of natural elegance. The setting is a contemporary multi-purpose room with pale walls and minimal decor, allowing focus on the materials. Soft overhead lighting is complemented by subtle daylight filtering from high windows, creating an evenly lit, professional environment. Photographic realism from a slightly elevated angle emphasizes preparation, equality, and a calm, focused atmosphere for group learning.

A serene coastal-inspired workspace featuring a light ash wood table positioned near a large window that reveals a softly blurred hint of Puget Sound and distant ferry shapes, evoking Edmonds without explicit detail. On the table rests an open laptop displaying a calendar view, a slim navy notebook, and a ceramic mug in sea-glass green. A small driftwood accent and a tiny potted fern add natural texture. Soft, overcast natural light fills the room, creating a calm, even illumination with minimal shadows. Photographic realism with a balanced, centered composition creates a professional yet warm atmosphere, symbolizing digital connection and planning for women in the Edmonds community.

Impact

Together, we’re strengthening the fabric of Edmonds through women-led initiatives, from mentorship circles and neighborhood meetups to service projects with local nonprofits. Each gathering is designed to nurture belonging, spark courage, and turn ideas into change.

A close-up of a large corkboard mounted on a clean white wall, covered with neatly pinned pastel-colored sticky notes and index cards, each featuring tidy handwritten phrases about goals, ideas, and community projects, though the text is softly out of focus. Slim metal pushpins and a few carefully placed colored string connections suggest collaboration and planning. Soft, diffused daylight from an unseen window to the left creates gentle side lighting, emphasizing the texture of the cork and paper. Captured in photographic realism with a slightly angled composition and shallow depth of field, the mood is organized, thoughtful, and aspirational, perfectly representing structured brainstorming and shared growth.
